"Pink" Zine - Edition #3
An exploration of the color pink, in full color, that's it.
From the Introduction:
Color objectively manifests as the dance between light’s physical properties and human ocular physiology, however humans imbue color with alternative meanings through social and cultural means. Perception isn’t confined to ingesting information, rather perception is the process of digesting, categorizing, and making meaning come to be. French historian Michel Pastoureau’s stated that it is “society rather than nature that makes color and gives it meaning, one that is constantly changing like sunlight on a landscape.” Considering the complex nature of humans across the globe, color is a fluidly-constructed idea that ebbs and flows with the tides of the sociocultural world.
Published by Tyler Keylon, 2024.
Third Edition.
Cover printed on pink 70lb card stock, book block printed on white 80lb gloss text. 20 pages, full color, est. 5.5 x 8.5 inches.
